asking the community for a little input here, I know they are close but are they too close. the pics on the green SSC are in the darkest lighting we have and then the wood table is the indirect sunlight. These chips are look so effin good I really want to use them and may anyway, but still thought I would get your thoughts.
I think they are too close but ive seen them in person and know that you can tell them apart in good lighting. the base is too close and they both have an orange edge spots so i sold my $2 horseshoes.
I saw a rack of these that @bivey brought along to the post last month. From what I recall after seeing them in person was that they're pretty dark and probably a bit too close to a black $100 unless the table was very well lit (and even then I'd have concerns). Tough call because they are super sweet looking chips.
Ok bumping this thread to see what you guys think of a new chip (thanks @JFCJ )
All of these pics are from the dimmest side of the table
The short stack on the far right has the Maryland Live! $2 (thanks @krafticus )chip
If the consensus is that these won't work then I'll try to hunt down a rack of gamblers pleasure $500's like @slisk is using. The only other option I'm thinking is maybe a rack of Circus Curcus $1's to relabel as $1000- I have a few of these and they are beautiful chip minus the hideous inlay
Was surprised to see I was the only on who has voted no problem. You all must know better seeing them in person, I honestly didn't think they were that close at all.
The Horseshoe $2 would make a great 5k chip, but you need a white or gray hundo (think Casablanca) to use it as a T500 or T1000. The Jack $2 tri-moons work well as T1000 with your set.
The Grand Vics look great. If I had more than 100 of them it would be a choice for me...still might in a smaller set.
I'm choosing to use the Jack 2s as a quarter frac to replace the Aquarius that were previously planned. It's a great chip to use as a frac. I don't like it as a 1000 here, too much orange that clashes. The Paradice 500s are also an option.
