So I'm ordering a custom set of chips from Sun-Fly and have already paid. They contacted me last night with the following question:

Kindly take note the chips are all ready for shipment.
Please confirm how much amount would you like to declare on the custom invoice?
100% value or lower amount as to save your tariff in destination?

Anyone have suggestions on how I should answer this question?

Lol. I've bought too many sets from them and have never been asked this once...lmao..that's pretty cool.
As for tariffs I've never paid any on import so maybe it's a new thing BC of the tariff war with the U.S.?

Dear valued American customer,

We know you fibbed about how much you spent on your used truck. And obviously, you fudged your meals and entertainment totals on your tax forms.

Would you like us also to lie to your government on your behalf?

Kindest regards,
SunFly

Values below $800 are exempt from Tariffs/customs/duties. Depending on the size of your order....up to you whether you let em fib a bit or not.

Wait so do you pay VAT on values blow $800 on inbound parcels in the US?

In the UK basically everything over £15 is taxed at 20%, even shipping is included when calculating VAT...

Nah, the USA doesn't have VAT. We're literally set up to create huge trade deficits. Our entire population can import anything $800 or less and pay nothing.
