Table Showcase (pics) (16 Viewers)

So a little late in posting this awesome creation by @T_Chan but this bad boy is installed and ready for action. I am on the hunt for some chairs that don't cost as much as the table and will do this table justice, but that will probably be impossible to do. Tony has an excellent customer service, excellent attention detail and overall made this table my lifetime purchase. I know the reviews from other speak highly of him as well and I hope anyone on the fence will jump over. This table is the centerpiece of the basement and everyone has been commenting on the quality. that old busted up Walmart fold up can be seen in the background in one of the pics so the upgrade from bucket of rust kia, to the Rolls Royce of poker tables. This is 9 footer with 10 man seats. his new cloth is excellent and allows for easy pitch of the cards form one end to the other. View attachment 721280View attachment 721281View attachment 721282
I'd congratulate you on a beautiful table, but there is a big, ugly-ass stain right in the middle of it.

Love the table, but questioning the logic of a table that cant play in December.

What an awesome table! Congrats! Looking forward to seeing some shots of it in action!

That was a ton of fun! Thanks to Buge for the encouragement.

Lined up the pattern pretty close and the cards slide over the section where the two halves meet like it isn't even there. Love the speed felt quality (thanks Texas Poker Supply).

So now the question is do I do the LED lights like I did with the blue one? Do I go red for the speed felt on the now blue table?

It looks great! Let me know how you like the padding for underneath. It seems to get great reviews on here. Job well done

Any tips on the best way to get the wrinkles from being shipped folded out of the speed cloth?
I tried getting it wet and putting it in the dryer, and then took a warm iron to it on the steam setting once it was on the poker table. It worked… ok. Be careful with the iron.

Thanks! I ended up returning the one I got to Amazon and bought one for double the price that is sent as a roll, not folded. Was hoping there would be a cardboard roll, but it was just rolled up and shoved in a tube bag. Mailman, of course, folded it 2x to get it in the mailbox (kiss your Xmas tip goodbye). Thankfully there were no folds/creases. Much happier with the feel and color of the more expensive roll.

Really enjoying this thread. In need of a newer, bigger sized poker table for a more comfortable game. Really enjoying seeing all of these tables.

Color me interested. So did you pad the track as well? If not, is there much sound when the chips stack on the track? My track is Naugahyde, and padded with gym rubber. Flat, firm, and quiet. That carbon wrap wouldn’t match my table, but is a curious idea for a different style table.

No padding on the track. Overlay is on plywood with many coats of primer, paint and poly. Lots of sanding to get it glass smooth.

Probably didn’t need to use the paint for the finish, but I wanted to be able to use the racetrack if the vinyl overlay didn’t turn out well. That way, I could just have a black racetrack with layers of poly for protection. First time to use the wrap And it turned out pretty nice.

I think

Definitely has a solid sound as Chips hit the track. Not a silent runner like yours. The wrap has to adhere to a hard, nonporous surface

There are some fantastic tables here. I wish I had known what a resource PCF is for all things poker, including table building, before I started this project. Plenty of great tips to incorporate into my next table top.

This one is for myself.
1st time I have ever had non-matching tables in my poker room but it was time for a change.
I am 51/49 that I will not like playing on it, I think the center will be too busy for me.
Good thing @T_Chan talked me into doing it and guaranteed my money back if I didn't like it.

Awesome tables, Dunbar!

What is your feedback on the table base? Did you make them? Do they give a good stability to the tables?

Thanks!
I have been using this type of base for years. It is a simple basic inexpensive box. 3/4" MDF so it is pretty heavy. Stability is no issue.
