As far as stock designs go, I’ve really liked the Everest hybrids from Sunfly. My idea for a semi-custom set is to keep the stock label but change some (but not all) of the denoms as well as some colors for a tourney set employing 100, 500, 2,000, 10,000, and 50,000.
I ordered a sample and they arrived today.
Having never held Sunfly hybrids before, I have to say I’m impressed.
Now the decision is which to employ for the set.
My initial idea is:
...with the following changes:
- The 1,000 becomes a 2,000
- The 25 becomes a 10,000
- The 10,000 becomes a 50,000 with the spots changing to bright blue surrounding bright orange.
The only thing that’s certain now is that I WILL order them as 39mm. I’ve never been a fan of oversized chips.
When my decisions finalize I may look into opening this as a group buy to see if I can reduce the cost (assuming there’s any interest at all).
