I just got in a sample set of the Sunfly 43's and they feel a bit light and fragile. I'm concerned that if I use these chips, that they might break or if I try to, they just might kinda like China Clay.

Any idea on how durable Sunfly 43's actually are?

I've used a set of Mountain Top Casino Sunfly hybrid 43mm in a regular home game for about a year and none have broke or chipped. This game used a felted poker table with no padding underneath so the chips have gone through the ringer a bit. No damage at all. I'm very pleased with them so far and think they're more durable than any compression molded chip. (Might be a bold statement)

43mm ceramics are a bit more substantial / heavy than their hybrid counterparts (no recess for the label).

Suuuuuper durable. Never seen one take damage. They are quality chips, but a smidge light compared to the Ceramics. I think they stack well tho.

Right now I am looking at either CPC or Sunfly 43's as a possibility of a chip to use for Midnight's Casino.

Just in case it takes painfully long to get certain colors I want with the THC mold.

The biggest downside to CPC is almost half the chips are made for a 7/8" inlay only. I don't think my chip design will work with that. I will see when the design comes in though.

Make sure to really see some sample prints. Over time, I actually prefer the smaller inlay. It's a bit "neater" in my opinion when 1 inch inlays can get sloppy. But that is controlled way more by getting a good designer.

I am a sucker for older Vegas styles, so that could explain the love of smaller inlays and simple spots.
