I had a very poor experience and wanted to share it with the community. Please move if it's not in the appropriate category. Maybe Bergs fix it thread?!

I ordered 200 $1 chips and 500 - $5 chips and paid on January 30th. $75/rack for the $1's and $100/rack for the $5's for a total of $692 including $42 for shipping. I emailed him on the 6th of February after no update in shipping status in My eBay. I emailed him outside of eBay on February 2nd just inquiring on $25 and $100 chips, informing him that I won this particular auction and he wrote me back saying "Ok Charlie I will email you if I can find any" and no mention of delays in shipping.
Back to February 6th. Danny wrote me back after asking on the status stating he was at a conference and told me they were supposed to go out today (Feb 6th). I wrote him back, told him I was disappointed in his communication and that for $42 dollars in shipping, and an auction handling time of 2 days, something more reasonable should have been done. He wrote back offered a refund but I declined his refund offer and requested he still ship the chips, provide tracking, and complete the transaction. At this point in my mind, if I got the chips, this was just going to be a "no feedback" deal and I would move on from it. Over the weekend, he still never shipped them or wrote be back at all with an update. February 10th I decided to open a case with eBay. I still was requesting delivery of the chips as that is what I preferred and hoped for. He still did not communicate during the seller response period and I then escalated to eBay support and I was awarded a full refund.
I don't know if he is having unforeseen problems or difficult circumstances that led to this transaction to fail but nonetheless I am disappointed and was hoping all the time the eBay case took to resolve would lead to a better conclusion. For me, it is absolutely nothing personal and I hope everything is alright for Danny since he is a highly regarded PCF member and eBay seller. I'm bummed that it went bad but since he is the initial source of the Stardust Mansion chips for all of us, it's something I felt I compelled to share because I believe most of us at PCF and CT should do business with each other with transparency and a higher priority.
