I'm thinking about putting together a Paulson set using Las Vegas casinos and mostly house molds. I would ideally also like to limit the set to casinos that hold significance to me personally. I typically play $0.10/$0.25 so I'm only planning 5c, 25c, $1 and $5. I may need $25 in the future.

My current lineup:
$0.05 - Gray chip (TBD) relabeled as "Binions"
$0.25 - Four Queens $1 relabeled as "Four Queens $0.25"
$1 - Caesar's Palace $1
$5 - Stardust Mansion T100 relabeled as "Stardust $5"

I'm not sure if the Four Queens white $1 chips are readily available. I may need to swap those out. I have considered Monte Carlo or Luxor $1 chips, but neither of those casinos hold any specific significance to me.

Other casinos that do have significance include:
  • Golden Nugget
  • Fremont
  • Barbary Coast
  • Mandalay Bay
  • Riviera
  • MGM Grande
Please let me know what you think about my lineup including changes/suggestions.

Other than the gray 5c chip, I love the others (white quarter with blue $1 is exactly what I used in my Vegas house mold cash set).

I feel like if you can get a rack of brown Barbary coast $1 chips for 5c relabels, those would be perfect (plus they are house mold instead of the gray RHC)

MGM Grand, Mandalay, Riviera, Golden Nugget are all blue, so not a good idea with blue Caesars (which are the best of those)

The color scheme looks on point right now so any other white chip would go great in that four queens slot (also I’m a sucker for white fracs). You also have some flexibility if you wanted to make the Caesars a frac and keep your white chip a dollar.

If you want to ditch the frac relabel altogether, MGM grand Detroit quarters would also be great in that line up. I gathered these along with the Caesars 1s when I was putting together a mixed house mold set myself before I decided to pursue an only Caesars set which I’m still currently working on. Here are the quarters I plan to put up for sale come the new year, along with an extra rack of Caesars 1s. Pm me if you’re interested.

I am a fan of the Caesars 1. The standard Caesars 5 and oversize baccarat 5 or both live and beautiful chips.

Golden Nugget and Ballys both have nice live 1s and 5s as well.

Yeah, the gray nickels are my least favorite of the four. I think I was really just trying to get Binions in the lineup. The four that I have right now are the main places I stayed/gambled on my first trip to Las Vegas. Binions has also been a staple of every subsequent trip.

I like the look of those Detroit MGM Grande chips. I would probably still relabel them though because I want the set to appear as Las Vegas. With a relabel, that might be a decent nickel, assuming the color is different enough from the $5. I will likely be interested in your rack of Caesars $1 chips.

I did some searching on the forums for Barbary coast chips earlier in the week and did not see a lot that were being sold in volume... mostly singles. I would consider the $1 chip as a relabel if I could find more of them.

I had not considered the Caesars $2 chip since it appears to be a bit expensive. It looks nice though. Thanks for the suggestions/mockups. I particularly like the rows with MGM Grande and Mandalay Bay included.
