Another upcoming game variant: Korean

Five card triple draw, high/low.
High qualifier - pair or better.
Low qualifier - no pair.

If no qualifiers does the pot carry over? If you fold and there are no winners are you out of the game even though the pot carries over?

There is always a qualifying hand for one way or the other. A pair or better qualifies for high. No pair qualifies for low.
Two way scoopers would be straights and flushes - better than a pair for high, no pair for low.

No qualifying high - best low scoops.
No qualifying low - best high scoops.

Ah. I didn't see that.

I thougt straights and flushes counterfeit low hands in Triple-Draw.

Maybe in 2-7, but not in A-5, certainly.
I can ask those in charge of the Korean tournament we are planning.

FWIW, I'm not a fan of games were you can't build a scooping hand. That is, games where you can only scoop the whole pot in the case where no one qualifies for the other half.
