Some friend and I will play a Stud Hi Low tourney in the beginning of August.

It's my first time that I play Stud Hi Low in a live tourney, what kind of advice would you give me?

Selective starting hands. Play hands that can either scoop, or very strong hi-only hands. Plan to fold a lot.

You are not allowed to fold unless facing a bet. I got a warning for that trying to head early for break.

This is true for all tourneys. You are not allowed to abandon your hand.

The Negreanu-video offers some great Advice. If possible dont try to play one way hands, most of the time you calling only to get your chips back. Try hands who do good both ways listed in the video

Thanks for the advices I could take the tourney down.

I got a straight flush 5 high and cracked quad kings for Hi. A hand before the opponent said that she thinks that I just can win with luck... So true
