I had to buy this chip just because I’d never noticed this size inlay on a THC before. It extends all the way out through the edger of the recess, crushing the brim of the top hat.
I assume there are others out there that I just haven’t noticed. I looked it up and all the chips on this rack for this casino have the same, strangely oversized inlay.
Weird, right?

Many of the casablancas
You’re right. I’ve never paid much attention to those chips, so I never noticed. Totally unnecessary in my opinion, too. I could see, if the artist was making use of the extra space, but that’s not really happening.

Bourbon streets have the same sized inlay, but the inner ring on SCV chips is slightly larger, so you don’t get the weird aesthetic like on LCV chips

Hmm, that feels like an inlay size in between the turning stone and the Foxwoods. Now I need to go find some SCV chips to compare to LCV.

Yes, I see what you’re saying. I don’t have calipers, but the hats on the Foxwoods are visably closer to the inner ring than the hats on the Gulfport.
