We are playing Omaha tonight, $1 to $4 spread limit. This is a highly social game filled with shenanigans. The low draws are cursed tonight, we don't have a qualifying low hand for the first hour+.

DrStrange is offering strategy advice for free. Noting that A2 has lost a lot of money so far, but 94xx seems like a solid profit maker (it has). Best advice tonight? Fold A2 preflop.

So Hero picks up :ad: :2c: :9c: :jh: UTG and asks the table what one should do with A2. Several people say fold it - so hero does and everyone else calls. The flop is :2s: :6s: :9s: - - Hero thanks the table for the advice, they were right A2 is no good. There is a level of disbelief as might be expected. Hero points to his mucked cards and offers $5 even money that Hero folded A2 - good for only one taker. A little give and take happens, but eventually someone does take the bet and after the hand is over everyone sees Hero did in fact fold A2.

I appreciate that hero's preflop fold was a mistake even getting an extra $5 in prop bet money. But the entertainment value was worth it. (it is a fairly small mistiake because hero's hand is a one way hand. Making a high on those cards isn't going to be easy.)
