I was just wondering if anyone had any stories about "strange" games they have played. They can be "strange" for any reason: unusual people, crazy rules, bizarre location. I'm just interested in reading about any weird shenanigans you have experienced while playing poker. Unfortunately I do not really have any wacky tales of my own. The games I have played are uneventful in that sense.

I know some people who play the 7-2 game in their tournaments for a small blind from the table. That was always a strange one to me.

We played the 7-2 game regularly in our home games. The one reason I really liked it, was because one the guys was a known bluffer. He always felt the need to play the hand aggressively to prove a point, if he won. It was an easy way to get his chips, lol!

I think the seven-deuce game is great when playing cash. Late in a tourney when blinds are high relative to stacks, say in a raise and take it situation, I don't want to give up what could be a decent sized portion of my stack when someone flips over 7-2.
