WOW! Just got the chips I bought at auction. The auction house only put up 3 pics and all of them were in the case. I was pretty sure they were Paulsons and they were. The chips are in much better shape than I imagined!
98 white. 18 that seem like they were never taken out of the case. 80 that are played with but in excellent condition and all the ones I checked still stand on edge.
98 Red. 78 are TH&C. 20 are diamond mold. They have seen the most play but still in excellent shape. The red chips are a little puzzling because there are 78 Paulsons and 20 diamond mold. Anyone help me out on identifying these.
98 Gray. I’ll never say used chips are mint, but damn these still feel chalky and brand spanking new.
Not sure if original set had 300 and lost 2 of each chip over time or just had 98 of each.
Anyway just wanted to share this find.
