I would but I already have a couple of racks of these. Damn sexy HS's.

Can't say I'd want to see them milled, they are practically perfect, but not going to judge you for it.

This is a pretty darn good price for these chips ($235 shipped from France is a steal, IMO). Someone please save me from myself, because I'm likely to buy them at that price, and if I buy them, I'm only going to ask @Gear to mill them and create inlays for me. And these are too pretty for that!

So please...save these chips!

I have an uncirculated rack of these, that i have absolutely no use for, but they are so freakin gorgeous in person that i can't sell them.

$235 for sure is a GREAT price.

Gorgeous mint $20 HS.... no use for???.... get those bad boys in play.

I do have a hot stamp mixed cash set they might work with.. Fine.. this is the year they get used !! (or sold)

DON'T Mill those beauties. Might be a great price now, but I should have jumped when they were cheaper.

Psypher, why it is a steal for this price? You think is too expensive?

A steal means a good price. Like the buyer is almost stealing them.

Compared to what the same chip has sold for in the past, those of us that like HS chips might considered this price to be a steal. If you don't like HS's then probably not.

There was a large bidding war when these chips first hit the market, the first racks went for well north of 3 bills. Lately racks of these listed have gone unsold for those same prices and are beginning to fall. If you like HS's sets and want a $20 chips for cash games (which are not exactly widely available, especially in mint condition) then the price is pretty good.

I'm confused about why it's a steal, because it's not a Buy it Now. Is it that strong of a possibility that these will sell with just the one bid?

ITs a steal if there are no more bids. IF there is a bidding war and price goes way up. then they become a great looking chip at current market prices (whatever someone is willing to pay)

Is it that strong of a possibility that these will sell with just the one bid?
Not sure. The chips have been available for a while at higher prices and haven't sold. I'm saying that $235 out the door is worthy of at least a starting bid from me, and the reason I say that is...

It's not that I have a compulsion to mill casino chips - that's not it at all! I have a set of spotted, hot-stamped chips I've been collecting with the intent to mill them and have custom inlays created. These would make a fine addition to that set. It's not ideal - I'd prefer a lighter grey or green, as well as another rack of the redbirds - but it's plenty serviceable, and a bit of a rarity to have a whole set of them. The only other spotted set of Paulson's that I know of which has been converted from hotstamps to a custom inlay is over in France. I'm even considering having @Gear do shaped inlays for these - something I'm not sure GPI even offers to casinos any more (since I haven't seen any recent chips produced with them).

I have a used rack if you feel you need to mill one.
Please hit me with a PM. I may be interested depending on condition. I don't need them to be uncirculated, just really really good condition.
