Slight smell on china clays after using mineral oil (1 Viewer)

I purchased the pharaoh chips from apache and love them. I did the cleaning they suggested on their site which helped with the color immensely. However I have a slight smell to them. Anyone have a suggestion?

This is a big downfall of China clays its prohibitive for me, couldnt do it. Following for effective fixes. I know it doesnt bother some but I wanted to avoid it.

My royals only smell if you put them right up next to your nose…are you saying that you can smell them while you play with them on the felt?

My CPS have an odor, I used to think it was smoke. That was until I got my Majestic Stars. Now, THAT is some smoke smell.
