I ordered a table from GG recently and I had a shuffletech built in. I had a little incident and wanted to come give credit where credit is due.

First of all - the Gorilla Gaming table is amazing. Very solid and well built.

As for the shuffletech - for some reason the wrong power adapter was sent with it. It was the strangest thing because as soon as I got it, I unboxed it, powered it up, ran a few shuffles through it and it worked great. I left it on my kitchen table that night. The next morning I had a poker game that day so I was getting it setup in the table, I was EXTREMELY careful not to over tighten it because the lady at GG made it very clear that I should NOT over tighten it. Once it was in the table I plugged the power in and nothing. I could not get it powered up.

Here's where it gets awesome. I call the # on the Shuffletech instructions and Chip answers, he was VERY nice, very helpful and we just could not figure out why it wasn't powering up anymore. He had me send a picture of the power adapter to his email. His response was "nothing is right here, please send it all back" (something along those lines). So I sent it in and now a few days later he's already sending it back my way. They never did respond saying they were sending it out and what was wrong, I only know it's on it's way because UPS notifies me when things are heading to my address....but that's okay. I'll take speedy and helpful support with a little lack in communication any day haha. He could have easily tried to charge me for the repair or something like that. All in all I will for sure be buying another shuffletech for a second table I plan to getting from GG.

Thanks for the great support Chip and the great table GG!

TL;DR - Gorilla gaming tables are great and Shuffletech support is amazing.

Yeah it’s very solid. My only gripe is the cup holders aren’t removable. Not a big deal at all just makes it easier to clean.

Do you have the patented phone chargers integrated into the table?
no that’s the much fancier one. I almost got that but then thought it would be better if people enjoy the game not their phones hah.

was at my local casino and noticed they had USB charging.

Got me thinking, do they get double the C&D letters because its double the ports or do they avoid them all together because the patent described a single usb port? Workaround for chan man perhaps?

In case my accent is throwing you off, Im joking and serious at the same time.

Rather than bore everyone... feel free to review this thread below:

I recently bought a USED shuffletech that had the smallest broken piece so I sent it to Chip and shuffletech in Illinois all the way from Toronto, Canada... the costs were fine for the repair... still puzzled as to why it cost me $40 or so Canadian to ship there, but around $100 USD to ship back to me. Then there are the issues with the idiot customs trying to charge me for paid goods. Give the above thread a read if you want more detail.

I cannot get ahold of them. Emailed and called 3 days in a row. (Gorilla). Do you have a contact? I am trying to place an order.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only person still furious about that.
If you guys didn't already spread awareness about this dark chapter backstabbing pcf-vendor history, I certainly would have.
I wouldn't say I'm furious, I just find the whole pretence of the US patent system absurd. Patent trolls should be trolled.

In an attempt to try see things from both sides I dont think Glen's intent is to be a patent troll. He applied for a patent and was given it. He's just using the system that's available to him and most likely feels entitled to do so as is his given "right".

As a keyboard justice warrior, I also feel entitled to my "right" to let people know how something so ubiquitous as a USB charging port and the mounting of it, shouldn't be something that is able to be patented.

The way it went down was sleazy, not to mention the absurdity to patent something as trivial as an usb charging port in the rail of a poker table as you already pointed out.
I could chalk the latter down to some weird drunken idea that somehow worked with a patent clerk. But choosing to enforce it by c&d letter through a laywer versus an established site vendor here on pcf a few months after you joined the site yourself is the lowest of lows in a world where I thought we all strife to be a chipping communty.

It's his right to view this just as a business with a profit margin but it is my right to think behaviour like this has no place here.

For those who don't know what we're talking about, here's what happened:

Fuck gorilla glen and his patent rights. He lost my business and respect forever, and I urge others here to do the same.
