SDM = Star Dust (Poker) Mansion?

"L" MOLD -- 32 L's. Old mold, used mostly in California; not used today ... .... ..... In fact, most of the chips found with this mold were in California...... ..... C. W. Rice Co.......For the picture on the left, the incused embossed lines were filled with soap for photography purposes. The chip is unattributed. The reverse side says $5.00. .. ..... UPDATE: this mold is not in use anymore, has not been used to make chips in some 20 years. It was donated to the Nevada Historical Society and is on display there.
