Hey, thanks for thinking of me. I've actually had a good amount of success over the past several months acquiring a bunch of Hollywood and Tampa Hard Rocks in excellent to mint condition, including fracs. I've got about 300 of the 25c (8 barrels of Tampa and 7 Hollywood) and 260 of the 50c (all Tampa). I do have one Hollywood 50c, but they are exceedingly rare.
I've also have 2 racks of $1s and 2 racks of $2s in similarly excellent to mint condition, 70 $5s and then 4 $25s. I'm thinking that I can use the Surfside $5s and $$25s in a mixed set with the Hard Rock lower denoms. Similarly, the HR fracs can be used with the Surfside $1s and $5s. Was planning to post pics of the sets together when the Surfsides finally get here (shipping is at 5 weeks and counting).
And then have 34 HR Grand Opening sets (all Tampa save one) and I'm a $2 chip shy of 7 Special Edition sets. I only have 15 cases though for those 41 sets. Then I have 60 Chipco hard Rock Girls and 18 HR NASCAR chips. I'm not really into the commemorative chips, but the price was right. I do really like the special edition sets with the guitars on them.
Many of the chips came from the brother-in-law of a dealer who had passed a couple years past. It's not particularly fun to prosper from someone's misfortune, but at least the chips have found a loving home. And then there were a couple other good scores.
