I like this new horseshoe better, and the pioneer club looks awesome. At this point, my favorite four would be Stardust, Pioneer, Aladdin and Horseshoe. But I'd be happy with any of these. If you made six, I'd probably buy them all.

Damn it Sal, your trying to make me buy 6 sets! I see what David is saying but I like the colorful chip. That said I do think the 'wind blown' script of the 'Sands' is missing on this chip (I personally like the font on the yellow orange chip in post #88)

Now I may nitpickin but the top of the Horseshoe chip seems ever so slightly tilted to 1 o'clock side. Probably only noticeable because the "bounty" words at the top of the chip. Now that I get to looking I'm not sure the "bounty" adds anything to the chip(s) and IMO may be too much.....I would be interested to see side by sides of these with and without it

I agree with you on the Bounty as well but was not sure if that what others had asked for. The Horseshoe does look slightly tilted but I know one of the style of the 25¢ chip was like that but might look better if straight. Let's see what an old school Sands looks likes so it matches the set. In a way I do like the colors but as a set it is out of place.

I believe the text within the horseshoe needs to be white and then color the horseshoe.

    I like the stardust mold.

I'd be in for four sets of something not tied to a particular chipset. I like the Suited sets and some of the themed ideas being tossed around!

I know there are some folks who are not on board with the vintage casinos but we did take a poll and I wanted to be as transparent and fair as possible. If I could sell enough to do two different themes I would do it - there's nothing I would love more. In fact I have a great ideas for the royalty sets. Maybe we can do another round after we get this group buy done.

But judging by the poll for now we are sticking with the vintage casino theme.

And now we have to decide on the casinos. Of course I've been working on the following designs with great suggestions from everyone. Keep the constructive feedback coming. I love it.

Right now, horseshoe and sands are not as visual appealing to me as the other four. On the otherhand I think the other four are looking really really good!

Maybe post a teaser pic to increase the level of interest.
I will say I wasn't on board with the casino but after the pics my interest has increased.

I think you nailed that latest Horshoe version. I'm still not feeling the Sands chip, I like the post #87 version better than this one. What if you took that version and moved the cactus in a little and then kinda faded the center image to white around the outside like the blue in the background in post #96. Does that make sense?

It would interesting to see just a Sands starburst background as well.

I think dropping 'bounty' off the top cleaned these up as well

These all look good to me. I like the new Sands with the sun in the background.

Recommend changing the Sands to a much stronger blue. It looks way too washed out compared to the rest.

Here's a new set of drafts...

Sorry, I'm not going to revisit that first Sands design. I'm not sure I want to offer the Sands at all at this point so we'll stick with the current design.

The old chip artwork for the Horseshoe just wasn't very interesting at all comparatively speaking. So I had to make an adjustment.

And I've added the California Club to the list of possibilities. Keep in mind that the eventual artwork will have much more color and detail once I get a guage on interest. I think it would be a great candidate to replace the Sands chip which might not make the cut.

Let me know what you think.

Love the addition to the Horseshoe Club!!! I am okay with either the Sands or the Cali club (prefer The Sands). Lets get an order page going!!!

    Great work as usual Sal.

I wasn't clear, as I was suggesting the "Sands" text be changed to blue instead of white. I like the Cali Club option better regardless

Still like the Classic Horsehoe from post #96 best. Cali club looks good too

It was representative of the icon associated with the old casino/chips IMO, which is what makes it work

Still not sure why the horseshoes haven't been moved to the Horseshoe chip, and why the horseheads aren't on Hacienda.

Aladdin needs lamps, and Pioneer Club needs cowboy hats. Paw prints works great on Cali Club.

Is the Bounty text going to appear on the reverse common side?

I'm digging the new horseshoe design. Looks great. California club looks good, too. I still like the Sands chip as well but it is probably my sixth or seventh favorite right now. Honestly, I'd probably order all of them if you made them all and rotate from tourney to tourney, so I'm happy with whatever gets made at this point.

Wow. Really coming together nicely. The addition of the "Binions" vastly improves the Horseshoe. Still not feeling that Sands at all.

I'm in for 4-6 tables. I'd rank them:
    1. Pioneer (amazing)
    2. Hacienda
    3. Aladdin
    4. Stardust
    5. Horseshoe
    6. California
    7. Sands

I agree the horseshoe border would be better o the Binion's Horseshoe. I am liking the CA Club a lot too.

Because initially there was going to just be classic "mold" markings on all of them like vintage casino chips often have. As the sets developed though I added the vintage horseshoe and horsehead mold but I didn't want to overdo it or overload the theme of each one.

Now I agree we can probably do away with the circular key "molds" and just use the corresponding symbols for each casino theme. I'll work on that.

Understood. Using 8x or 10x instead of 12x symbols may help in that regard. May want to take a look at several versions and see which looks best.

I'm having a hard time ranking them myself, but I think my rankings right now would be:

    1. Pioneer (agreed, it is amazing)
    2. Stardust (I like the variety from the predominantly western themes of the other casinos)
    3. Horseshoe
    4. Aladdin
    5. California
    6. Hacienda
    7. Sands

You guys will have to let me know if you like going with the corresponding symbols or if you want to go back to doing vintage molds. I was a little attached to the vintage molds on the Hacienda and Aladdin. But it's best to be consistent with each chip.

I am good with what you have. I like that you went to using 8 symbols total for the "mold". Would love to see what you have in mid for the backs.

I showed these to my Aunt at a family dinner and she told me a story about seeing Vic D
I haven't discussed that with anyone yet. I assumed that everyone would want to keep the backs compatible with the other sets so they would not change from the original set to this new one.

However I am open to changing it up as long as it doesn't affect the decision for people to purchase the set.
