I bought some Bitcoin about a year ago to play on Seals With Clubs, mostly so I could write a story about it.
I have to say it was probably the fishiest poker site I've ever seen. I ran up my only deposit 3x despite very occasional play (1-2 times a month for 1-2 hours at a time), though my "fiat" cashouts amounted to less than 2x my initial deposit due to variations in the value of Bitcoin.
Seals With Clubs officially shut down earlier this week; that said, there's going to be a 2.0 version soon under new management (with Bryan Micon, the old "Chairman" apparently running the entire operation).
Did you play on SWC? Will you play on the new version? I cashed out my 0.17 bitcoin on the old site and plan to deposit it on the new site once it launches (it's only worth about $40 at this point anyway, may as well try to spin it up.). Anyone else think it's worth a shot?
