Santa Ysabel re-labels: Did I mess up, or was this always a problem? What should I do? (1 Viewer)

To round out my set from the @navels sale, I picked Kash $100s to re-label (@Gear, of course) as Ysabel $100s since they are very close in color and spot. Then I picked Cleveland HS secondary $500s to re-label once I found out what the original $500 looked like. It's a problem of being slightly off on both chips - the result is near-unplayable $100s and $500s with my choices. At last in my opinion - see photo.

Should I swap out one denom for a different chip that might not match the original chip as well? Was this an existing issue with the actual chips that I should maintain in my set in the spirit of modeling the original set? This seems unlikely - the Kash $100 adds a bigger, light purple spot that might be the root cause of the problem...maybe.

Nevermind what was in the original set and just find a better fit? Suggestions and feedback welcome!

The HS Cleveland secondary $500 lead to a dirty stack with lots of black chips in my experience

I had a very similar problem to yours when I tried using them with the Native Lights $100 (similar colour blue/purple spots as the Kash/FT $100 but different pattern).

The HS Cleve $500 is better but still not perfect with the Jack $100 I use it with now.

The 100 and 500 are iffy. I think I would be ok with them, but see ow some people might not

those are original to the set, and I don’t think it’s too bad. I dont completely disagree tho.
