This begins my journey down the rabbit hole. I want to upgrade my blank "suited" poker chips. Chris M and Jon Hobby's youtube videos led me here. I really liked the look of the Elite poker chips. Plain, simple, colorful, and easy to read. Just what I was looking for, until I saw that price. As nice as they are to look at, I just can bring myself to spend more than a buck a chip...if I want to stay married anyway. So let's start looking at other chips. One of the key points talked about on the forums was "Buy Samples!!!" Here are the ones I purchased.
I don't remember what I paid for all the samples, but I don't think I paid more than $12 for any one set. I don't believe I am qualified to give a review on these chips. The Navarro chips would be my favorite when it come to color scheme and semi-customizable, but there is some flashing that is a big turn off for me. I know Jon Hobby has reviewed several of these chips on his youtube page. My goal is to give other members an idea of what some of the samples look like when put next to other chips in hopes it may make the trip down the rabbit hole smoother. If you have a specific question you want me to answer, please let me know.
