So in my quest to find a cash game set, I have ordered many sample sets of chips to try out. Everything from China clays, ceramics, CPC, and some Paulsons from Apache. I have ordered a sample set of the Majestic Star chips (which he has a set of 1000 chips for only $700), a sample of Jack Casino chips, and I am thinking about ordering a barrel of Indiana Grand $5 (they are selling a 500 chip set for $1000), and Jack Casino mint secondary chips.

My question is, is there any difference that I should immediately notice between the different Paulson chips? It seems that many of you have several of these sets (I am assuming they were all bought from the chip room). Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

all of the samples you ordered are RHC, so the only real difference is the age and level of wear. the majestics are really, really worn - they got their money's worth out of those things! with the jacks (assuming cincinnati), you will get a spread of "normal" casino used (the primaries, but especially the $5 and $25) through mint (secondaries). the barrel of IG $5s is probably pretty well used similar to the jack $5s, maybe a bit less, but will be nice for a feel of what a "shuffle stack" of all the same RHC chip feels like.
