RIP Eddie Van Halen (1 Viewer)

Fair warning tour at Boston Garden was amazing . 2nd loudest concert ever for me. He could really play

I saw Diver Down, 1984 and 5150 tours. Van Halen was the main band for me in high school and a year or two after! Quite a bummer. When VH 1 and 2 came out it really was something different than all the Styx and Cheap Trick I was listening to. I think they put rock and roll on notice with that first album!

Our youngest son is a guitar player and was also a fan.

Pro musicians and fans agree that when EVH hit the scene, he changed EVERYTHING. To this day, that first album, especially considering the music of that time... was simply colossal.
