RHC Re-label Ideas (1 Viewer)

The idea of a re-labeled cash set has been in my mind for awhile, and has been done beautifully by members here a few times.

After stumbling into a great deal on a couple racks of MGM $1’s this morning, I managed to also get a couple racks of Cancun $5’s and a rack of Terrible’s fracs.

Now comes the dilemma as I search for some higher denoms. I’ll never need $100’s in my games, but much prefer black chips over green ones. What I’d like to do is just get a rack of blacks and make them $20’s. Any reason why I shouldn’t do this? It would be something a little different and the idea is growing on me.

I’m also terrible with anything artistic, so I’d like some ideas of what black chips would go well with the chips I have coming. I’d like them to be attainable, and for $4/chip or less as I’m trying to keep the cost on the set reasonable. So please help me out here a little, thanks!

Can’t beat the look ok the cinci secondary $100s w those Cancuns. They’re pricey if you’re going to get more than a rack or two but they’re really nice

I agree, Cincinnati's and Cleveland's are pretty easy to come by for $3-$3.50/chip. Edge spots are pretty nice as well.

What about the tonkawas? They would go well with the Cancun $5s

My vote - picks up the spot pattern of the Cancun $5 and echos the blue of the MGM $1.


Or you could go oversized AS $100 - they seem to be selling for about $5/chip.

The Cincy’s have a lot of pop, and seeing as the other chips are bright as well, they are in the running

I had not thought of these at all, and judging from the picture @Highli99 posted they look good. AS are out of the question, as I have those in my ES set as $100’s

Tonks are also very nice for the set. I chose the Cinci 100s for my casino Cancun set. Below I have a pic. Small stacks, as I just have 1 barrel to shuffle with bc I’m at work

Lots of ideas here, too bad the Cancun $5 is so washed out in the scan. Cincy $100 is the front runner for me right now as my $20.

The Terrible’s frac I’m getting is different though, it’s the 2V with white inlay

No one else has ideas for the black chip? So far the Cincy $100 is my favourite I think, though that Tonkawa looks great as well

I have decided to take this relabel idea in a very different direction after putting some more thought to it. The ES cash set I have is already a standard color, so I figured why not try and build a Cali-color set. This idea mostly came as I really want to use the Terrible's $0.50 rack (prettiest pink chip I've owned), as well as the Blue Chip quarters.

What I'm thinking is the Terrible's frac for the quarter, the BC quarter will be the $1. Now I need 2 racks of yellow $5's (kicking myself for missing the perfect chip last week), some black chips TBD for the $20, and prolly use the MGM $1's as the $100.

I need some ideas on what's out there for yellow RHC chips in mint/near mint condition, that are available, and won't destroy this idea due to the cost being too high.

Your going to relabel the Blue chip quarters????!?!?!? I'm all for modifying chips but that would be too much for me (based on how hard it is to get a Paulson $0.25). There are so many other options for chips to relabel for a $1. Just my opinion of course....

Probably just a label over at this point. If I do Cali-color then I need a blue $1 chip, and I already have some of those. I'm always open to ideas though

From what I've heard label over can damage the chip underneath but I expect it depends on the chips. Must be another blue Paulson that would work.

im taking another direction on my set. Removing the $25 and $100 n switching to bigger chips. Starting with the AS $20 replacement. But absolutely love the MGM $1 n cancun $5. They go great together. (y) :thumbsup:
