Hi all :)

Purchased my first/last poker set almost 10 years ago - Avalon Paulson couldn't be happier with that set. But now it is time for a new set.
I am thinking about collecting some used Paulson chips and relabel them with my own sticker design.
Can I use all Paulson chips for this? Are there some special types of inlay this won't work with?

My plan is to use Gear labels and remove labels or just place them on the existing inlay/sticker. I understand hot stamped chips are not a good fit for this project?

If you want to just put a label over the existing one you need to use a RHC since it has a recess. If you you THC you will need to remove the existing label.

the pink $500 below is a label over, the blue .25 is label removed

Thanks Wolfpack. I will start putting a set together.

I much prefer to remove the original inlay. You definitely wanna grab a couple of extra chips and labels to try and see what you like better. To me it's a world of difference, but I know others think overlabeling is good enough.

Removing the original inlay is way more work though, so it's pretty much about what you prefer.

If you use casino used chips there might not be enough of a recess to fit the label without removing the original inlay, but it depends how worn the chip is.

Thanks, thats a great tip. I will definitely try on some spare chips.
