Well I finally got around to referring the table. New 2016 WSOP cloth. I took the pictures when I was shutting down everything so only the table lights were on

How long did it take to refelt, @David O?

Looks mighty sweet. In the dark, at least! ;) Great job!

I sure wish you had a table with the Vegas casino theme that got mocked up last year. It was sweet and surely would have matched your vintage Vegas set.

I really do not know because I did that and also reworked the lights. I also grilled some chicken in between. If I had to guess probably an hour or less just to recover and taking my time. The most time was in removing the 1,000,000 staples. Well maybe not a million but close! Pretty easy to do though.

The other thing that took a while was redoing the lights. Of course the sticky back on the strip lighting gave out over time and also had a few lights that decided to go bad. Luckily I had another partial set of lights and had to take a section from the old lights and solder them together to give me a long enough piece. I then tried another way to mount them which worked out great. Lights should be good now.

Yes I still have the design and put it on the back burner for now. I had so many designs and really could not decide which way to go. I received so much input which ended up making me table the idea. I am sure it will come up again but I got a pretty god del on the cloth that I just installed, and how can you pass up a good deal on a WSOP cloth?

Big clean up day upstairs! Getting ready for hosting. Also took a quick pic in the light.

No chairs right now. I have to clean some chairs I purchased before I went in vacation. They were a little dirty and probably not the color I wanted but comfort for me and my players overruled my decision. And how can you pass up Gasser chairs for $4 each?

I will post some pics when I get them cleaned and in place.

How thick is the material? Like is it so thin that you see the texture of the foam underneath? Or is it somewhat like SSC?

David looks great. I love most of the wsop cloths for obvious reasons, but not in love with this particular one because the Uber logo is so large and smack in the middle. I wonder how much that cost them? Other than that thing that you have no control over it looks like a great place to play a game. Nice work.

Thanks, I do not mind the Uber logo that much. I have more of a problem with Copag. Seriously? Very average cards for an event like this?

I don't mind that one at all since it's off to the side, but yeah I don't use copags anymore as they are terrible imo.

Nice chairs! And a steal at that price.

Try contacting Uber and/or Copag with a pic of your setup, and see if they are willing to sponsor your game. Can't go wrong with free cards or discounted rides home for the drunks. :D

It is like the speed cloth thickness but not as stiff. I have 1/4" volara underneath and it looks good.

David

FYI, I like to use 1/4" volara with a layer of headliner on top of that. The headliner is way too thin to use on its own, but on top of the stiff and springy volara, it adds a nice thin cushion.

Spray on adhesive is the only way to go IMO
I m getting ready to resurface my table this weekend. What type of adhesive do you use? I have only used staples before but I watched T Chans video and want to give this method a try.

Thanks

I'm more impressed with the chairs. Whoa! Prob could re upholster them? But i don't hate the color. They're gassers and a work of poker room art all, on their own.

I'd probably spend as much as you spend on all of the chairs for just one chair, so you got a steel in my opinion

I use 3M Super 77 spray adhesive.

Thanks! That's what I use for the foam pad, so no need to buy anything else! I was always afraid it would bleed up through the cloth.

Just need a very light coat on the table surface, no need to saturate or shoot for absolute full coverage. Let it start to get tacky (4-5 minutes) before adding the cloth.
