Real clay? Need help IDing (1 Viewer)

Hi all. Found someone dumping poker room gear on FB. They’ve got a set of 600 of these chips. They look like real clay chips but I don’t remember seeing this style anywhere. Can anyone help ID if these?

Those are Claysmith "The Mint" chips, which are just typical slugged plastics, not clay whatsoever.

Available everywhere for about 20¢/chip. Not bad for what they are. What are they asking for the 600 chips?

One tip-off is that they all have the same spot pattern. This isn’t an absolute rule, but most compressed clay chips with edge spots have varying edge spot patterns for each denomination. When you see that each chip has the same spot pattern (albeit in different colors) you should suspect plastic.
