"The poor chipper's Lakeshore Inns"?
...only jk I absolutely love my Caminos!
This poll follows a series specifically focused on set inlays, but I thought it was often diffcult to ignore the clay (or else) around them. So let's vote on the whole thing this time (inlay, edge spots, colors, etc)!
Why I like them so much: the simplicity of the inlay, the edge spots, the choice of colors (love the $20!!) - nothing spectacular when you take each element on its own, but put together, I think it all works perfectly. It is one of those instances where boring is great. But boring isn't going towork for everyone I guess?
And btw, I am not necessarily trying to compare them with the Lakeshores, but it is hard not to use them as a benchmark for Cali sets when there seem to be such a broad consensus in the community about how good they are (I believe for all the right reasons ).
- I couldn't find a good/high quality picture of an original quarter (link to the chipguide)
- The top left picture of the 50c is not mine
- Last edit: added the quarter
