We had the "Rate this inlay" series in 2020, and since I like polls, I thought I'd start a series to pick PCF favorite line up. I am going to use pictures of samples I own because as usueful as the Chip Guide can be, picture quality is often...subpar. Sadly I don't have that many samples, so you are encouraged to contribute with your own (cash/tournament, casino/fantasy - THC/RHC/TRK, your personal CPC custom...)

What you are voting on:
- color progression/combinations
- edge spot progression
- inlay design
How do you rate the overall design of the set?

What you aren't voting on:
- rarity/availability
- condition
- affordability

8 for me. The inlay is kinda bland but I do love it’s simplicity at the same time. Spotted no mold is also really unique but would’ve preferred THC.

Funny thing about this set is that if the name read something like "Mike" or "Sally" in cursive instead of "Wynn", I'd hate it. But since it's the logo of one of the nicest hotels on the strip, it doesn't bother me. In fact, I prefer simple, clean, elegant inlays. And while I don't know about "elegant", these are surely clean and simple. But the chips themselves are, sans inlays, are about as good as it gets, IMO.

When I saw the title, I was immediately excited to give these things a 1 or a 2. But I took a fresh look, gave it some thought, and decided on 4.5. I bumped it up to 5 because no mold is not RHC.

Feel like the spot progression got the 500 and 1000 backwards. -1 for same round inlay, good contrasts. Overall ok but not a 9.

idea: a ceramic tribute to these that changes the signature to "Wyrm" and includes a small, subtle dragon somewhere

Or CPC no mold, although last I remember, the no mold is currently out of commission

CPC has two no-mold molds; one textured, one smooth. The textured one is apparently available, but the smooth one is "not currently available (future undecided)".

Alas; I would have liked a custom set on smooth no-mold so as to duplicate the antique crest-and-seal chips. Textured just wouldn't be the same.
