The RHC $1 feels so wrong in this otherwise beautiful set. Go inflation!

A decent line up that’s being let down by a rather awful $1 chip and a $100 that looks like it belongs in an error ESST production run. I initially gave it a 7 and then downgraded to 6 (I had given GC Gulfport an 8).

I don’t hold the RHC $1 against this set as much as others may. The seemingly Missouri-based trend of a single oversized/flipped mold within a lineup is odd, but the quirk grows on you in person. I can see a typical tourist pocketing a $1 as a souvenir just because of the oversized branding.

Logo is well-designed, maybe a tad busy with so many words. Wish the denom was bolder and slightly larger, but PRESIDENT Casino on the Admiral is the focus, and rightfully so.

The $100 is a tad dull but does somehow still fit. Otherwise a killer lineup that draws attention at a table. The .50 (not shown), $5, $25, $500 are all arguably ‘90s GOAT contenders — at least in the conversation.

I always hated RHC chips before I started this set. The $1 in person is actually great, though I still wish it was THC. I don't ding this set too much for the $1 though.

Agree. I used the GC Gulfport as a reference here because the $5/$25 are effectively close or similar chips (and while I never was a huge fan, I’d be a liar if I said I would never want them in my collection) but the $1/$100 in the GCG line up are just better (even if I think the GCG $1 is a bit too much for a dollar chip) and I gave that line up an 8/10. I don’t necessarily fault the PCA $1 for its RHC mold but the spot colors…ugh

So I agree with the color comment in the context of the lineup. Standalone though, green and metallic gold 414 is pretty awesome.

This set has really grown on my over time. The $500 is one of the best 39mm ever created, full stop.

-1 point for the RHC $1.

8/10 for me.

8 - I'm pretty shocked that people don't love this $100. The RHC $1 is a ding for sure, but a leaded, textured RHC $1 is certainly better than any unleaded (or worse, leaded but relabled) THCs that people have substituted into their sets.

Totally agree there are some better but there are far more that are worse. I like it a lot but there are certainly other standalones that I love.

I am a huge fan of leaded THCs these days. I think the set is great, except for the $1s. Also, the $500s are awesome looking, but would be better at 43 mm IMO. And where are the $1ks?? I am still very interested in securing minty $5s, $25s and $100s if the price is right to take the workhorse pressure off my FLV set.

I love PCA’s, even the $1. The $5/$25 combo (my game workhorse chips) are as good as it gets. Shaped inlays and denominations from 50c to $500 without having to get creative is a massive plus. Few sets can claim that.

While not a single one of these belong to me, I have the pleasure of living with these beauties!

I will never forget the time I stuck my hand in the cookie jar and had to sleep on the couch for a week!

But it was worth it!! (Kidding) @FordPickup92 fell in love with the PCAs on Day #1 even buying a small set off eBay of the primaries. She has great taste!

I gave them an 8, but honestly I think they are a solid 9! Not perfect but damn close!

I much prefer the RHC $1 over any of the THC relabel $1’s…. Seeing a PCA set with relabeled $1’s tilts me even more (especially blue $1’s)…. PCA RHC $1’s are unlike other RHC chips…. They have textured inlays and stack like absolute bricks….

I give them an 8. Woulda been a 9, but having a RHC $1 in a THC set is gonna get you docked no matter how amazing everything else is.
