We had the "Rate this inlay" series in 2020, and since I like polls, I thought I'd start a series to pick PCF favorite line up. I am going to use pictures of samples I own because as usueful as the Chip Guide can be, picture quality is often...subpar. Sadly I don't have that many samples, so you are encouraged to contribute with your own (cash/tournament, casino/fantasy - THC/RHC/TRK, your personal CPC custom...doesn't matter as long as you own the sample)

What you are voting on:
- color progression/combinations
- edge spot progression
- inlay design
How do you rate the overall design of the set?

What you aren't voting on:
- rarity/availability
- condition
- affordability

Another fun set. The edge spot progression is all fucked up. I love the color combinations of every chip. The denomination feels a little small. Size matters when you're old.

Inlay's interesting, not too bad for a casino chip. Spots are nice; good geometry with some variety. Colors are nicely coordinated, although muted rather than bold.

A good chip, but still too casino-ey for my tastes. Nothing exciting. Six out of ten.

Do yourself a favour and get rid of chips from your disloyal Colony.
Best solution is the factory in Maine, still run by a subject of Her Majesty.:)

Wow I’m disappointed I expected a much lower score from you

The T25 is my favorite. Love moss green/lime green base colors. Imagine no one has these in quantity, but if someone does...

I gave it a 7, because I think that’s the least I’m allowed to give a THC/shaped inlay set?
Colors are bad, inlay is terrible.
Maybe I should have given it a 7.5 since it thumbs it’s nose at “spot progression.”

Shaped inlays is a plus, alternating spots are at least intentional, and an incredible 5 ... otherwise meh.

Spot progression is jacked but there is a pattern of every other chip, the hundo is a bit underwhelming and spots are a little dark. Not a fan of the off center denom and size of the denom on these. The font and inlay design is pretty good though. I had to give the overall set a 6, maybe a 6.5.

It feels like the entire line up was designed to allow the artwork to shine (best artwork off all the line up we have rated so far). The base colors combine to perfection, the spot colors don’t take the attention away from the artwork…I look at the picture and my eyes don’t even notice the (lack of) spot progression. Maybe you could marginally improve individual chips on their own, but I don’t think I’d take anything away from the line up design. 9/10

Is the second "L.A." on there in case we forgot after seeing the first?

I actually really dig the inlay, especially the font, and when has a coastal chip ever not been improved by a palm tree? The 5 is a top tier chip in general, and if not for that standout, I think my score would drop by a point or two. It's honestly a tough set to grade since it's hard for me to imagine these flowing well on a table in stacks. I blame the 25 for that.

I like the inlay, but something is missing. Not sure if its the colors, the spots or what. But it seems like its missing something
