Not a fan of the colors much and the grape/upside down club is just wrong and yeah oversized auto -1 for me

I'm sure I'm in the minority, but, on certain chips, I really like over-sized inlays, and this is one of my favorites, over-sized or not!

I pretty much hate oversized inlays. But ignoring that aspect of it, I like the artwork on the Vineyards quite a lot. The font and graphic....cool.

The grape club is awesome, and I like the overall style. Too bad about the oversized aspect
Out of honest curiosity, what is it that detracts from the overall chip for you? Is it a feel, look, etc. type of thing?

I’ve always looked at it as just another difference in chips, like colors, composition, or spots, but I’m also somewhat newish so just wondering what the thoughts were on oversized.

look for me, not enough clay, same but opposite reason a very small inlay on a RHC or 43mm tilts me

Nobody likes over-sized inlays? I LOVE the Aria Super High Roller Bowl chips, even with the huge inlays!

Those would be sooo much nicer with standard inlays...... it's a major design FAIL. Negatively affects playability, too.

For me it’s the fact that you are covering up something nice with something that shouldn’t be there. The Crystal Parks with the over size inlay that mimics the base color and spots is a special kind of weird on a whole other level.

I’ve always used the analogy that, to me, oversized inlays are like putting hub caps on custom rims. Hubcaps that try to mimic the wheels underneath them in the case of the crystal parks. Just weird all the way around.

Are there any over size that cover the additional clay but specifically show the full spots?
Giant inlays on RHC mold chips obscure the underlying spots. Grand inlay is the default size for RHC molds -- they can also have Standard inlays (which look too small in the recessed area), while Super Grand (pretty rare) tends to fill up the recess without spilling out to the outlying clay and edge spots.

1" inlays on THC chips also tend to fill out the recess area vs Standard 7/8" inlays (ref. several of the Casablanca designs).

Rereading this outloud 3 times so I don't ask BGinGA again later.

Initial reaction was a 2 because I don't like the color and the gradient and the doubled denoms, but the club in the grapes was clever so +1

Another classic. I am a little biased, as you can tell from my avatar.

I don’t mind giant inlays as long as that aren’t all the same color, so pots are still easily distinguishable. I think this one is well done, I gave it a 4. Personally, I like looking at stacks vs single chip’s faces anyway, so the spot being covered doesn’t bother me as much
