I randomly stumbled upon this cabinet for $80 on CL. Pretty unique, no?

It had an old-school fluorescent bulb on the inside-back to light the inside/glass. I tore that out and replaced it with some cheap strip LEDs from Amazon (~$20).

It had no shelves so I built a few to hold my 2k Starbursts in 2-rack stacks with some other small sets in cases below and a cookie tray of cards & dealer buttons above (~$30).

Pretty happy with the end result as a night-stand in our spare bedroom/office!

Inspiration for someone else maybe???

I love it. Wow. Never seen that. Amazing. Very nice find!!!
The ‘decorator’ claimed a ‘designer’ made it for her client directly. Who knows if true but I was pretty stoked to stumble upon it...Excalibur was my first of 100+ live games!!

That is insane. I believe it. Never seen one. I want it!!! Love it.

The thing I like best is that the inside is just an empty cube with light...so when my ‘won’t get any larger’ collection ends up doubling...it’s a minimal investment in some wood to change things up to accommodate!

How did you find it? Were you searching for "cabinet" on CL? You must have been shocked when you saw it!

‘Casino’. It’s one of the searches I do when I’m just killing time.

Definitely shocked though! It’s actually a really well built piece of furniture beyond the coolness factor and doesn’t have a scratch on it.

I think the funniest part was that the woman seemed shocked someone would actually want it in their home! I decided not to explain the thought processes of people who collect small clay disks!!

This is awesome. I picked up some chip storage on marketplace for $70 not near as a good deal as this. Nice score!
