I'm looking to make a Jack Cincinnati 25¢ frac.
I already have an email into Gear to get labels. But I need a rack, maybe two of murdered chips--or easily murderable chips. I've never murdered before, but I'd be willing to try if there is nothing else available.

And I don't want to spend a fortune. I'm looking to spend about $130/rack in VG/mint condition. Less in lesser condition. Less if I have to murder myself.

I don't mind used chips, but VG to mint would be nice.
I don't mind RHC, but THC would be nice since the Jack Cincy 1s are THC.

I'm trying to make sure the base colors don't match anything in my Jack set. If they look good with the Jack 1s and 5s, that would ne nice too.

As far as colors go...
Are there any base colors that are:
  • Dark blue
  • Very light green
  • Light purple or Lilac
  • Darker grey than the Jack 5k

Or any other colors that you think would be great.
I'm not interested in solids... unless it's a last resort.
I would prefer spot patterns of Vs, Ws, Moons, and Half Circles:
  • 3 moon (6)
  • 2v2w (18)
  • 4v418 (22)
  • 4w (26)
  • 4tsa18 (31 also known as "Bear claw")
  • 3v (36)
  • 2v2d18 (40)
  • 4hc (41)
  • 2hc (42)
  • 4hc (45)
  • 4v (46)

Please help. Post pr0n of suggestions and PM with an offer if you think you have THE answer to my Jack Frac needs.

it’s a big ask. Maybe someone out there is feeling generous but I wouldn’t spend too much time holding out as I’m pretty sure half of the forum would instantly dibs what you’re asking for at twice that price regardless of whether they were murdered.

You don’t need them murdered though. Overlabeling works just fine, murder is an expensive luxury.

also if you’re using jacks and you’re on a budget the rest of your set is probably used so condition should be the easiest sacrifice.

Use Chip guide and look at all the blue 1s available in Vegas. Used Paris 1s are available in quantity and are in comparable condition to jack 1s and have a complementary spot pattern. They tend to go around 250.

You're right. It's a big ask. And a fun project. I don't need the help of other people on this forum... I can do my own research and find the perfect chip.
But I thought this forum exists for people to help each other and exchange ideas.
I am giving the friendly people on this forum the chance to read my Wanted Ad and say "I remember I saw X chip and it would go great with a set of Jacks."

Why is murdering an expensive luxury if I said I would be willing to do it myself?

also if you’re using jacks and you’re on a budget the rest of your set is probably used so condition should be the easiest sacrifice.

This is a very big ASSumption, and you would be right... two weeks ago. :D
I've spent too much money over the last couple of weeks on upgrading my Jack set to be considered "budget."
(Damn, I took that personally. Whoops.)

Used Paris 1s are available in quantity and are in comparable condition to jack 1s and have a complementary spot pattern.

Looks nice. Is the base color the same as the Jack Cincy 2? Because I got some Boulder 1s and they have the exact same base color as the Jack 2s and I was so discouraged.
Otherwise, yeah--the this spot pattern goes nicely with the Jack 1s.

They tend to go around 250.

The people I've purchased from can attest that I don't mind spending money on good chips, but I will not pay a premium that I think is absurd.

This is for everyone reading my ad, here's my reasoning:
I don't mind buying live chips, but I will not pay $250 per rack for $1 chips.
If I wanted two racks, I could either pay $500, or I could...
Buy a cheap ass round trip plane ticket to Las Vegas for $120, stay in a budget room for $70, go buy the chips myself for $200, tip the casino workers $20, and still have $90 to use the buss, see the sights, and get food.

All I want to say is,

Comparing overlabel of an existing inlay versus murdering, yields entirely different results. IMHO!

Its not as easy as equating it to "luxury". It's more "preference" id say. I say from experience, enough experience to know that while overlabeling has its advantages, nothing beats murder and inlay re/re, if you are intending to keep the chips.

Also, kudos to taking on the killing on your own. I had help along the way from one very cool local chipper who took time out if his life, invited me over, sat me down, and instructed me on what to do.

Good luck man!

He's right on this part though...

I know I'd pay higher...
Eh, yeah. @Stufflymcstuff is probably right. So I'll manage my expectations of what people will post here. I hope people will help and post suggestions, but I won't be holding my breath, though. I'm just giving people a chance.

I've already bought different chips priced at between $0.90 and $2. Some murdered, some not, all in great condition, not mint. So I know it can be done
But they clashed with my Jack set. Apparently I'm still to new at chipping to pick out the right ones. That's why I'm asking the forum for help. I know it can be done at the price I'm looking for. I just need the experience of the people here to suggest some good chips.
