I think I lucked out there because I hadn't noticed the picture of the overstamped chip in the listing until after I paid, but once they were delivered I looked through them all and the overstamped one pictured was actually the only one in the rack - no clue why.nice grab! if they weren't overstamps i would have been bidding against you.

Haha. Well, if you ever want to give them a good home, please keep me in mind! Though I prefer the blaze colors, I don't discriminate and would be interested in barrels or racks of any color!nice, wanna sell them?
i kid, i own a set of 650+ starbursts and have zero use for them other than the occasional game of sequence and saving them from all the murderers around here.![]()

Ha, oh no! Yeah that's strange - I checked all 100 of them after I realized from the images - but eureka! just the one.Wait, what?
I asked the seller about overstamps and he told me "51 are overstamped and 49 are not", so I passed on them (twice!). Oh well.
Congratulations on your purchase!
The "starburst" stamp is applied to cancel the original stamp. Sold as generic chips with the starburst alone and as an overstamp back when Paulson sold direct.N00b question here. What is an overstamp and how can I tell? I'm guessing the one in the middle that looks messed up, but why was that done? Or is it a mistake?
