I have a bunch of questions about plaques.

Are the majestic plaques made by MSK?

Other than sizing (and artwork), are there any different base materials that MSK uses or is it just one type?

Does Matsui have different base materials?

How do both stack up in terms of sound/feel against plaques used in casinos?

Matsui has multiple types of plaques. Which do you mean? The ones which are essentially big rectangular chips, or the more MSK-style ones they offer? And, yes, the majestic plaques are made by MSK.

I borrow this thread, think it's better than starting a new one...

Do you think that MSK-plaques and plaques with similar material serve 39mm ceramic chips well? Or do you think ceramic works best with ceramic :)

I've used ceramic plaques (BRPro and Sun-Fly) with both clay chips and ceramic chips, and both combinations work fine imo. I prefer the thicker rounded-corner ceramic plaques (various sizes) over the thinner standard rectangular credit-card type, however.

I've also used acrylic plaques (Matsui, MSK, and B&G) with both ceramic and clay chips, although I think they work better with clays and acrylic jetons than with ceramic chips.

I'd rather use ceramic plaques with ceramic chips, given the option -- just a personal preference.

From what i can tell, all msk-product are made with the exact same materials.

I can't say i think it matters the slightest if the msk plaques goes with clay or ceramics. Never even given it any thought to be honest.

I love my MSK plaques. The players in my game really like them. I think better then all the money I spent on my AS cash set lol.
