In another thread I mentioned I worked at a Casino, and we had done a few special projects over the years. I dug up some old images from those.

2013 Grey Cup

Regina hosted the Grey Cup (= Super Bowl) for the first time in ten years, so at my insistence we made some custom Grey Cup Festival chips and some tables to commemorate the event. These were a fun project. Because of the production times, these were in the works well ahead of the CFL Playoffs. As it happens our home team, the Saskatchewan Roughriders ended up making and winning the Grey Cup, so these ended up becoming a collectors item. There a a few of the $25's remaining, but most of the $5's have disappeared from the floor by now. The $100 chips don't actually exist. We thought about it, but it added too much liability.

I don't love the final result, unfortunately I got over-ruled on the design by our execs, but...way she goes.

I REALLY, REALLY tried to get the custom football field BJ felt, but by law the Casino had to destroy them when they were taken out of play. :(

2016 20th Anniversary Chips

The casino in Regina is located in a historic train stations that was originally built around 1910. It was closed in the 1980's and converted to a Casino in 1995. To mark the 20th Anniversary we produced another run of chips. We got smart after the Grey Cup chips and teased their release into the floor. We had lineups at the bank that day with collectors grabbing the chips :).

This time around I was much happier with the final design. $5 is a historical image, $25 was current.

Did lots of other fun stuff there, but these are the ones I thought would be of interest here.

Both are nice, but I prefer the Cup celebration design - and that felt!!

What are the initials in the right-hand diamond representing (looks like "CMI")?

Casino Moose Jaw - I actually worked for "SaskGaming" which operated the two casinos, but CMJ was essentially folded into Casino Regina operationally, almost like a satellite location. Chips are interchangeable at each location.
