I work for a company who treats me well. My son is interested in soccer, me not so much. Anyway I was talking about going and they said buy some tickets on your company card. Here we are tonight at Comerica Park watching Paris play Roma in the third row. Actually it's too close so we'll move up in a bit.

My son says this won't happen, he asked me to post his doubts. Myself I have no idea.

Your son is almost certainly correct. The club are prepared to pay the fee, but in reality the player is using the whole process as a way to negotiate himself a new contract at a higher wage.
