I phoned the company Reldom in Las Vegas to get some info on this cart. Sadly the cart is a hair too old for them to definitively tell me what casino it was sold to but they did tell me this....not bad for the $50 I paid for it.
Hi Steve,
That unit is one of our old change carts, the model # is
CC-210, and they were widely used in casinos during the time when slots and video poker machines accepted coin, so the change attendants would fill the storage bays with plastic coin cans filled with rolls of silver dollars, quarters, nickels etc.. to sell to the players on the floor.
At $50, you got a great deal, when we were selling them to casinos they were $1,795.00 ea. Thought I’d attach a couple photos of other ones we did throughout the years. At one time, virtually every casino on the Strip had these carts in them, in fact, in the original Oceans 11 movie, one of the first scenes shows a change cart in the Bellagio Casino Resort! It was a pleasure speaking with you, glad I could provide you with a little history on it.
Sincerely,
