Hi

I am sorry to say that I have to sell some of my chip collection. First to go are is my PNY collection. All chips are mint and have never seen play. Could you please give me some insight into value?

200 x 0.25 (pink, hot stamped)
500 x $1
400 x $5
20 x $20
200 x $25 (yellow and blue spots)
200 x $100 (orange green blue spots)
100 x $500 (yellow and pink spots)

Thanks in advance.

Prices have been changing ( generally up) for most Paulson mint chips ...
Search eBay completed auctions for recent selling prices , both eBay US & UK to see if any difference & to get a good idea ...

The $/chip value will depend largely on whether you are looking to sell as one or two big lots or are willing to break up and sell by the rack/barrel.

I smell a group buy...

I'd be interested in 2 racks of $1s if split, possibly the $500s

I would be interested in a rack of $1's, the barrel of $20's, and maybe a barrel of $500's if split.

My best estimates from recent sales:

Assuming all mint (never played/shuffled)

1's = 400/rack
5's = 200/rack
20's = 200/barrel
25's = 150/rack
100's = 275/rack
500's = 1200/rack

that being said, might be interested in a barrell of the $500's.

Thank you for the feedback. I didn't expect such variance in the denominations.

I could sell them as one large set or split into a 1,000 cash set (200 x 0.25, 500 x 1's, 300 x 5's) and a 600 tourney set (100 x 5's, 200 x 25's, 200 x 100's, 100 x 500's). I don't mind splitting by rack, if they all go.

I'll take some pictures, get my post count up and invite offers in the classifieds.

The 500's are usually between 10-12$/chip when they have sold.

I think that may be overstating the value a good deal. There was a recent eBay auction where they went for that much, but that auction was for 5 chips...

I've paid in the ~$7 per chip range as recently as 6 months ago, I know chip values have risen a little since then but I doubt anyone would pay $1200 for a full rack of $500s (though times have gotten crazy...). Just my 2¢ worth.

Re-think your tournament set breakdown. I think it will be short on T5s for most T2k or T3k structures.

For a 10-max tourney, 100 T5's should work with 10-10-7-x starting stacks :)

Yeah, but you have enough of the other denoms to do two tables. To balance it, you either need another rack of 5s, or drop them entirely and get custom MSK plaques to facilitate bigger stacks.

I was thinking only one table 10-10-7-x works well and with T2,500 replicates PS online.

Any split I think of probably won't make sense to some buyers.Bid per rack is best?

***I would be in for 200 $5's and 60 $500's***

Are your chips still for sale? I'm very interested!
