I'm about to get a set with the values 5,10,25,50,100,500,1000 and I found out that if there are 8 players each one has 93BBs but 3500 out of the 4640 stack worth are 500 and 1000.Does it seem reasonable?

It sounds like you’re doing a tournament. Is that correct? If so you are probably getting more denominations than you need. The 5/10/50 are least commonly used around here. There are many ways to run a tournament but the most common would be:

T10,000 starting stacks with blinds at 25/50 or 50/100.

Each player would get this many chips:

12* T25
12* T100
5 * T500
6 * T1000

The total chips you need are a factor of how many players you expect. You’d also want to get a few extra T1000 and T5000 for color ups.

There are great resources on this site for chip calculators / blind structures / etc.

Welcome!

Skip the 10 and 50 denominations. Get more 25 and 100 denominational chips instead. Getting denominations of 5, 25, 100, 500, 1000, and 5000 insures that you can use the set for both a tournament and cash (values in cents) layout.

If your starting stacks are almost 5000, and that’s 93BB, then your starting blinds are 25/50. So don’t get the 5’s and 10’s. Also, don’t get the 50’s.

Or, start blinds at 5/10, with starting stacks of 2000. Still, don’t get the 10’s and 50’s. They’re inefficient, both in cost of purchasing the chips, and in game play

Thank you for the comments so i guess i'll need to order a new one cause the one i ordered has 50×5 50×10 50×25 50×50 50×100 25×500 25×1000 so i can't have a game with those

With the set i oredered if i play 50/100 with 8 people at the table each one has about 48BBs so it's to low and with 25/50 the 1000 won't have any use so the BBs would still be low
