And this is why baseball is the greatest sport. Who the hell had the Nationals winning the wildcard, let alone advancing? Another postseason Kershaw implosion.

That pitch to Rendon in the 8th was actually pretty well located... he just went down and got it. Not much you can do there. The hanging (breaking ball probably) pitch to the next batter was just meat though :)

I’ve watched every nats playoff implosion in past years. 2017 against the Cubs was brutal but at least my dads a cubs fan. I knew he didn’t have much time left to watch them so it wasn’t terrible to see Chicago advance.

2 outs in game 5 in the 2012 nlds, up by 2 and lose. Desmond even almost had the ball in his glove.

To see them come from behind and win this one and the wildcard too - it’s been amazing. I still didn’t feel good about it going into the bottom of the inning up 4 because of past years, even though percentage said 98% to win.
