Post your favorite dealer button you have (2 Viewers)

Is there anything that you don’t have collected in mass numbers @Ben8257 lol

super cool collection though I’m quite impressed. Lots of awesome buttons in there
Cut card collection is wicked also!! That is your choice buddy! No rules here! Collect what you want!!

Are you thinking about getting in to button collecting or just have that cool single?

This is one of my favorites :)

I’m at the moment just finding a cool one to use. So far that’s all I have but it does it’s job well.
But now I’m definitely interested in your cut card collection I only have 2 copag cut cards and will have a Desjgn cut card soon once my decks arrive

@Ben8257 No matter how precious, get them all in play! With the numbers you have, if you rotated them evenly, each button would see felt once every two years! Not enough to wear them out, my man. Haha!

Thanks Ben :) glad you like it mate.

Thanks mate :)

The rectangular DB was made by The late, great Sal of Old West Poker Supplies. I don’t actually have one anymore. He also did the ‘Two Kills’ bounty for the set.
Hi @Phantom and @Ben8257 my hunch is that Sal did the artwork and designs, but Gene @ABC Gifts and Awards was his printer for chips and DBs. If it ever got to be you guys did a run of DBs on the Thicker plaques Gene could be the guy to do them. I always assumed that Sal did his own printing of the chips and DBs. However, one post by Gene a year or two ago had me think otherwise. I can’t remember which thread it was on.

First of all, I much prefer ceramic dealer buttons over acrylic. The acrylic ones are just too light IMO. I own a few, and while I like them, I like the heavier ceramic buttons far more.

Many people like a white button, because it’s traditional. Simple, clean designs.

Some like to contrast the white with a dark button, especially if they want more than one version in their set.

Others go for a punch of color to make their buttons really stand out on the poker table.

I have so many dealer buttons that I like. But if I had to pick my favorite, it would probably be The Club House. It’s such a great design. The moon looks amazing how it glows behind the tree. It has enough to draw you in, but not be a distraction on the table. It’s perfect.
Love both of them

Sal appears to have had a wider range of sizes, shapes and thicknesses for his plaques and chips though :)

Absolutely love dealer buttons. I'm not really sure why I am so obsessed but I love them all!

Those are my primaries or the best of each. They are slated to be displayed and only played on special occasion at best!

Then these are my doubles/ second set that are meant to be played with on a regular basis!

But if I had to pick just a single button, it is hands down... not even a close second place to The "Casino Royale Les Aux" by the great @Phantom

Not only the amazing unique shape, epic graphics, and it is the faux marble background that just truly sets this buttons above and beyond the competition for me!

Curious on what button @Nuhockey will pick and why!!

Great thread idea @Theluckyhand2 !! Catching on quick buddy!!

Ben
You selling the acrylic PokerStars button?

Thanks for the Tag @Ben8257 . These are my two Favorite Button designs that are my own which I used a designer to help me create.. The Deathstar and the DK Button are ones I had designed and made during the Pandemic. I don't feel like I had enough buttons out there so I went and created some custom buttons to feed a sickness LOL.

My other designs I had made with the the help of designers. The Miramar and Andre Buttons go with Custom Chip sets of mine. The Taj Buttons were a tribute to a place I played a lot of poker in.

My Favorite commercially made button is this one below. I got it around 2008/2009. The Company no longer exists.

This is my Favorite button made by a chipper for a set. Just like @Ben8257 this is my Favorite if I had to choose between the couple of buttons that I do own. I like the shape and the design.

Lol that pot leaf dealer is priceless

Yes I regret only getting one at that time. The company that made that made some other cool buttons too. Unfortunately a few years later when I went to look for more buttons they didn’t exist any longer.

Okay I was looking at one. One picture had a star in the middle and the other didn't. Seller said he get back to me with the answer. I guess can you confirm you bought from this seller?

I have bought a few items from the Poker Store. They are located in Dallas and have come through for me before. The only thing I would say is some of their ceramic buttons look like they got them from Apache and marked them at a higher price.

I don't have any of my custom Blades or Casino Royale DBs at all (gave them away or sold them all). I have three (3) new ones coming for Blades (v.3), Casino Royale (V.2) and HSI (V.1).

However, through my time here I have been gifted two great DBs.

@atomiktoaster was an awesome help during my early Blades days with re-shipping samples around the US and when he sent me mine, he included a 'Garden City Casino' button, which is the one we predominantly use and my favourite.

Honourable mention
@CHP TD is an Aussie lad from Canberra and was good enough to send me his awesome 'Car Hole Poker League' button - a mix of the Simpsons and Mad Max. A really fun DB to have on the table and get's a lot of comments.

I have a lot of buttons, but these are still my favorites:

I reread all these at least once a year to help reset my moral compass. You should see my paperbacks, they look like they were left on a subway for a year they’ve been read so much.

This is my favorite, Pocono Modern

PCF Dealer Button is by far my favorite, but I typically prefer ceramic buttons. I’ve started a small collection of buttons awhile back so here’s where I am now.
