That's an awesome bonus, Jim! Thanks!

(Reserving this spot for pictures when my order arrives in a week or two...)

Just got mine today, can't wait to put them into action. Pretty sure they were all mint?

Do you know why there were so many variations with some of these? I've seen primary/secondary, but some of these have 4 variations. Pretty neat!.

I got these a few weeks back. Waiting to finish up a little project to post some proper pics but that'll probably be it's own thread.

Big thanks to @TheChipVault for picking me out basically 1200 mint $1s. I never knew chipcos could basically be chalky new!

Smart idea, this thread. I've focused on clay and haven't given these chips much attention. But seeing thede colors, I have to say they're very attractive.

It's been kind of cool to see the color combinations that people have been selecting. I've never had a casino bank with so many color options... especially for the high value chips.

Exactly. I have several decently sized Caribbean CiC cash sets, particularly Grand Casino Mullet Bay, Americana Aruba, and Palm Aruba, and they're all consistent base colors -- white, red, green, black. These larger denom chips will let me extend any of those cash sets into tournament sets without any base color duplication.

The four racks of red $100s and turquoise blue $100s are just icing on top of the large denoms!

You'd think you'd develop a sort of immunity to all the bold colors after looking at pallets of these chips as you open and sort them!

When I was unboxing the 10's I was like OMG ... 10 different choices. There were 5 different hundos .. but I couldn't get over 4 choices of 500's and 1000's. And a bunch of 5's. Never seen anything like it.

Any idea why? Were different colors for different games? I can't imagine they'd have different colors of the same denominations on the same table at the same time.

Honestly.. I have no idea. Anyone else know?

I was wondering the same thing. I can see primary and secondary, but 3 or 4 colors has got me wondering too.

Perhaps a bit of a Caribbean/Bud Jones thing? The Americana Aruba had a similar deal with their series 5 CiC $100s -- three variations: black with white, black with blue, and white with black.

Maybe Bud Jones just had a great sales rep in that region...

or plastic looking replicas were easy to counterfeit. just a guess.Maybe they ordered different colors for different games?
