Post office raises rates and slows down mail for “prime” season! (1 Viewer)

Just left the post office. New “prime time” rates are in place. All packages go up in price AND they slow down. My 2 day (I live rural was never 2 days but) I just sent a barrel to Ohio “priorty”. Ticket says expected in 7 days and it was $9.30 SFRB priority. Manager says expect delays and price hikes all thru the Christmas season. They say it’s temp for now, guess we We will wait and see.

I noticed it as well. I dropped off some packages yesterday and they the scan says I dropped them off today. I forgot about the rates until I was creating the labels.
 
maybe they are finally operating like a real business by charging a premium for busy season. I can't blame them.
