The most favorite chips threads have been a hit. How about a thread where we post pics of our least favorite casino or other quality chips. Dice chips et al are too easy, I’d rather have actual casino chips or chips made by higher end manufacturers. Hopefully no hard feelings here! I’ll go first. I literally picked these up off the floor of Jim’s old Chiproom warehouse in Michigan, all 3 of them I think. He sold me a couple handfuls of misc. chips for like $5 years ago. These were the worst of the group in my opinion.

I think it would help to say why you think they're the "worst".

Bottom chip is Bud Jones, a type they used to offer for public sale. They are very lightweight plastic, uninspired design, feels like a toy. This is why you can't just rely on a brand name for quality. There may be many different product lines (at least historically), and they may differ hugely in quality and value.

Some people have a soft spot for Unicorn mold, even it they're plastic.

There are a lot of poker rooms in a lot of cities in a lot of states (in a lot of countries!). You are not Madonna or Cher or Bono. You’re a random poker room in New Hampshire! Tell us more about who you are!!

Holy shit! That's from the Poker Room at Hampton Falls in NH. My favorite poker room for years. They just shut down (because they were bought out) right at the beginning of the pandemic. Kinda shocking to see their chip in somebody's collection. I loved that place. Great tournament structures. For a while, they got 100+ runners every weekend for a deep stack $90 tournament, which typically ran for 10+ hours. I'll miss it for a long time.
Edit - if anybody knows what the Greyhound plans on doing with Hampton's tournament chips, let me know. I'd happily pay good money for those used ceramics.

This is a very dangerous thread. I mean, there are one or two esteemed members here who've, afaik, never owned a chipset that I'd take as a gift. And there are undoubtedly people who feel the same way about my chips.

Just nagunna go there... :cool
I agree. I came here to bash some chips that have been pissing me off for years. But the first thing I saw was @DZPoker s picture of a chip (which admittedly sucks) from a place I love. My heart grew 3 sizes and I decided not to bash any chips.

They’re real and they’re spectacular.
At least I thought the tournament chips were - I spent a lot of time with them.

Man, that place. You can complain about the chips all you want. That right there was the starting stack for their 30K tournament. Started 25/50 with 30 minute levels. It was the shit. For $90 on friday or $130 on saturday, you could compete against 40 to 110+ runners in a true deepstack that ran for ten hours. Try finding that structure for those stakes, anywhere.
