Since the first year would have been Year 1, the end of the first millennium would have been Year 1000, which would make January 1,
1001 the first day of the millennium.

Ok, which calender from this list of arbitrary ones? On some of them we haven’t reached it yet and in some of them it’s moot. If you are going to measure “time” accurately you have to be very specific. Not my rules, somebody else made them up.

I thought you wanted discussion, not confirmation of your bias. Man, we haven’t even got to color yet, that’s a good one too.
