Hi guys, working on a cash set with Flamingo labels since I love the $1 and was able to get labeled $5's already. (Also my first poll so hopefully i did it correctly)
I'll be using the Venetian $2 as my $20. Since my games won't play big enough to use $100's I figured I would go solid everything and then spotted $20 to make it look the most important, comparable to tournament sets that make there bigger denoms 43mm.

I'm just debating on which color I should make my frac.
If yellow is the outcome I'm going to need 20-40 more of them if anyone has.
(the labels are just on to show a white label on the chip, my real labels will eventually be Flamingo's... for now)
Help, comments, thoughts.

Thanks!

Bright chips call for a bright frac. Don't use a turd frac for such a good looking set.

I don't think dirty stacks should be much of an issue unless you regularly have fracs and $20/$25s in the same pot. If the greens are going to be more for storing value than actually being in play I think yellow would look nicer.

The people voting yellow are all “omg I love yellow so much it is awesome in everything” which is usually true, but not in this lineup. Brown 100%.
Using the brown also opens it up for me to use yellows in a tourney set i may create, where the brown might not mix so good if i get a black 100.

I am not one that says OMG I love yellow. I have a very large mixed set which uses several different fracs, $1's, $5's and $20's or $25's.

One lineup I have used is Horseshoe frac, Flamingo $1, Dune $5's and Dunes Baccarat $20's. I will admit the Brown frat works with the $20 but not with the Flamingo as well. Most pots have tons of $1's and fracs. The occasional $20 or $25 hits the pot. I think the chips that work more should compliment each other more so than the Frac and large denom.

Having played with both scenarios all I can say is the yellow goes best hands down.

But again that is just my opinion from my experiences

Personally I like the brown no matter what. But especially with the blue dollar. Brown and white might actually cause issues if the white is faded or dirty.

The yellow looks too lose to your chosen 20 for my comfort as well.

I don’t like the brown, but the yellow is pretty close to the green chip. Playability always trumps looks IMO.

^^^^ That above statement should be the cornerstone of every set being put together.

There's a certain closed casino set out there that goes for a HUGE price tag, when one can find it, which is never. Every chip in itself is gorgeous. Together, IMO, again, IMO only, the set is a mess.

I had this choice for my Cattery custom set, and went brown. With yellow being a standard 1K, and brown not really having a standardized value, it was an easy choice. Brown quarters, yellow 1Ks.

Voted yellow. But also find in the splashed pot pic that they look too close. When you're trying to get a quick glance at how much money is in the pot, that could be an issue.

Another vote for yellow and switching the 20.

The $20 being spotted makes the yellow win out for me. Im not as worried about getting them confused then.
