anyone play on here yet

it is crazy the things that happen on this App u need the absolute nuts to win a hand it seems

I have had so many bad beats in these 3 weeks its been live down alil bit of money I am deleting the app its far to fishy for me to keep playing

anyone play on here yet and feel the same ?

Same, play on the app when i really should be working  :ROFLMAO: but yes sometimes this has been the case but not always. I have been trying to improve preflop so often the hand ends early as i try to bully everyone into folding haha

You really think Pokerstars right ak it's licensing in Michigan by having something other than a random card generator so that they get a small percentage more in rake?

My third hand after Pokerstars Michigan went live, I had 36 in the BB. It limped to me, so I checked. Flop came 457, two hearts. I check, UTG bets, middle position calls, back to me and I pot it. Turn is a brick. I shove and get two callers. One caller had a heart draw and the other had 55. River was the case 5. Felted.

Should middle set call a check-pot on the flop? Or a shove on a brick turn? Would middle set call that action live?

It was microstates, so perhaps the players don't respect the bets. But also, online, there is no accountability and people make bad plays that they wouldn't make online.

Maybe there's a lesson to be learned about floating more bets live...

Whatever it is, I don't think Pokerstars rigs the runout.

The only bad beats that happen there and not live are like the guy who mis clicked all in for 180BB with 10 8 offsuit and I snapped with Kings. And held.

all I am saying is I have been playing hold em since 2002 seen more hands than I can think of and I have seen some of the craziest shit ever happen to me on this app and poker bros just crazy I won't be playing on Apps anymore I learned my lesson people hitting 1 and 2 outers like it their jobs every time

So, serious question:

Do you think
A) Pokerstars rigs the deck, or
B) People don't respect the limits they play and there is zero accountability from donkey plays online, so they play wider ranges and get stickier when they should fold?

I think the computer makes shit happen that rarely happens in real life on a way more regular bases again ive seen alot of bad beats in real life but this app is unreal the stuff ive seen n stuff thats happened to me the last month its just unreal the computer can make anything happen unlike in real life the cards coming out are already set in stone the computer can make anything happen play computer blackjack n u will understand what im saying the most unreal stuff happens in video blackjack costly mistake from me aswell before I stopped playing blackjack on a computer or at the casino electronically

Done the same myself, finished in profit but it wasnt easy getting the small amount back in video blackjack. Same goes for roulette, played romanovsky system and every 4th spin house wins haha

just saying in 3-4 weeks I played like 10 times and some of the craziest stuff has happened to me and other mainly me while I was playing just unreal stuff that happens rarely it was happening so much its crazy

Any hand histories to share from the app for review? As mentioned, online you see so many more hands than you would in years live, and especially at low stakes players play much splashier. I’m leery of some of the poker club apps, but pokerstars has built a legitimate image over the years for a reason, and game integrity with them isn’t something I’d worry about.

Multiple times I have flopped trips where ths other person flops a boat or id flop a boat and someone would catch a boat on the river to beat mine one time a straight flush 3 card on the board beat quads but im talkin like this has happened alot not once u know its just crazy like ill flop the nut straight and it will end up someone having a better straight on the turn or river but like that happened to me 3 times in like 1.5hrs again I know it happens its poker but this seems to happen alot on here is all im sayin I am down a couple hundred I know how to play the game been playing since before the money maker boom only since 2002 but still 19yrs I know ehat im doing seems to me like 80-85% of the time u need thw absolute nuts just to win a showdown its unreal for me I am gonna cut my losses and just stay away from there I know im a unlucky player but that app was crazy I use to play online all the time before black friday n it was never that bad like this app pokerbros is unreal too I play a weekly 20 buy in on pokerbros and its wild as well just not as bad as PS

play computer blackjack n u will understand what im saying
I actually got $50 in free casino cash on P* MI. I had to wager $5800 in blackjack bets to be able to make the bonus withdrawable. By the time I hit the wager threshold, my $50 was $485.

I don't know if P* runs a RNG at the start of the hand (the way a true shuffle would presort the cards into a particular order) or if it runs a RNG of remaining cards just before each card comes out. Either way, it's method/software had to be approved by each state and I can't imagine that a cooler sort would be approved by the state gaming commissions. And even if you allow that cooler sorts are possible, the two specific players have to be in the hand.

I've gotten coolered for long odds in P* poker and I've had the dealer turn a 6 showing into 21 after I've split multiple times in P* blackjack.

I've noticed significantly better play (respecting raises, a player's recognition of the board, an ability to lay down hands in big pots when the board goes south, etc) when the stakes go up. If you're playing at low stakes, it's hard to make a player lay down a hand for $5...you might get a laydown in the exact same situation for $50.

EDIT: BTW, I play in a Wednesday league at P*. On occasion, I've had to start on the phone app and switch to the laptop when I get home... It's no different on the app.

I know im a unlucky player but that app was crazy
How crazy is it over how big a sample size?

How many buy ins below EV are you running on Stars? How do you know you are an unlucky player vs experiencing some bad variance, or even just playing badly.

I played 900 hands last night in two and a half hours. That would take 30+ hours of play live. You just see more hands, man. If you're a losing player you'll realize it much quicker. Not saying you are, as it sounds like you have a tiny sample size, BUT, the size alzo isn't enough to say you're "unlucky"

I'm not disagreeing with you that there are some crazy run-outs on P*. But I think there are other plausible explanations (as stated in this thread) rather than the deck is rigged.

For the poker apps (Pokerrrrrr in particular), I'm not positive there isn't a rigged deck. I've seen to have days where I'd get oudrawn on, but other days where I couldn't miss a draw...

This is the reason you think you are seeing so many more bad beats online vs live. Playing 900 hands in 2.5 hrs is 360 hands/hr. Live you are lucky to get 20-25/hr in nl. Point is when you play 15x the number of hands you are going to see 15x the number of bad beats.

Pure logic pointed out earlier in this thread dictates that p* or anyone else that is licensed for online poker is not going to risk that license to literally print money just for a few extra % they could make by rigging the deck. In addition to that, if it were ever to be proven that they were doing this and that info got out then everyone would flee that site. No sane person running a poker site would ever take these risks.

It's poker dude....
Lots of strange things happen and it is all part of what makes the game so good.

It sounds to me like you would do well to take a break from it anyway. Poker can be extremely frustrating and usually when you are running bad, part of the problem is that you are playing bad too. Not saying you are or aren't, but that is from my experience. I have no idea of how you play, but poker is not easy. I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt and just assume that you are a winning player (big assumption btw) and say that even world class expert players can have the crap that poker throws your way get into your head. For even the best of the best when this happens it can be healthy to take a break.

Step back from playing or move down a level or more and spend some time assessing your own play. See if you can figure out where you are making mistakes or is every losing hand actually a bad beat where you are ahead on the turn to 1 or 2 outs? I suspect that if you are really honest about it, you are going to find at least some spots where you could have played the hand better.
